Pet food incorporated with mixed by-products meal showed good overall palatability and gave better response in maintaining dogs. Only the pet food incorporated with pig by-products meal showed the least effect on the performance of dogs while other pet food faired well on dog's performance. The cost involved in the preparation of pet food was well in the range of Rs. 30-35 / kg
- Pre-blending of ground buffalo meat with anti-oxidants showed better effect in maintaining the quality of meat.
- Treatment with either 2% lactic acid +20% Nacl or Ginger extract +20% Nacl were found to be safe for maintaining the quality of buffalo meat.
